A collaborative project in which a select group of designers, illustrators, and artists create visual interpretations of the most defining moments in United States history as a way of informing others of our proud, yet sometimes troubled and forgotten past.
We've been fortunate enough to use our hands and talents to design and print posters for some of our favorite artists and events. Here's a list of the fine folks we've worked with:
The Civil Wars
First Aid Kit
The Lilies & Sparrows
Straight No Chaser
The Southern Renaissance

A 4,200 acre estate tucked away in the mountains of Tennessee, Blackberry Farm is one of the most celebrated luxury resorts in America today. This place is truly one of a kind. If ever you've wanted to get away from it all this truly is the destination you've been looking for.

When our buds at the online market place, Zaarly, comes calling we get pretty excited. If you've never used Zaarly, get with it. Whether you need a cake baked or your gutters cleaned you can find it all at Zaarly. We love working with these guys.
Silver Screen Society honors the many stories told through the world of cinema each month by bringing a new film and a continuous stream of creatives that carry with them their own unique interpretations and ideas. We were able to make our contribution with the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey
JD's Rub is a craft meat dry seasoning and marinating mixture. This rub is sold only in select butcher shops in Charlotte, North Carolina. John Dameron, JD himself, decided he was tired of the boring rubs he was using on his meats. He wanted to make a better one. And that he did — John constructed the best damn rub you've ever put between your cheeks. And we're totally serious.

When Meredith and Tadd decided they wanted to stitch their lives together forever and ever they asked us to reflect their style along with their unique ceremony setting in all of their wedding collateral. So that's exactly what we did.
When our friends Randi and Cam told us they were getting married we were so happy. And when they told us they wanted us to pitch in for some of their wedding materials we saw an opportunity to show off their coffee-loving personalities. We also decided to squeeze in a little celebrity name mash-up fun just for good measure. Our part:

What happens when a couple of slackers discover their love for a good brewsky? Well, you get a brewery that specializes in putting their own fresh spin on famous flavors. We had a blast on this project. Mostly because of the free samples.

Foley is a South Carolina indie-rock outfit made up of some pretty solid dudes. We've known these guys for years, and we've been to more of their shows than we can count. If you've never heard them, do yourself a favor.

Piroch'toberfest is an annual gathering of homebrewers and beer fans. So when we were asked to create a fun brand to wrap around such a killer event we jumped at the chance. We love working with these guys. We loved the event too — well, what we can remember of it.Our part:
Who doesn't love a good pair of jeans. I know here at Shed Labs, it's our pant of choice. So it made total sense for us to partner with Billiam, a maker of fine denim and leather products. Hand-crafted to the bone, his selvedge denim jeans rock our ever-lovin' socks off. The good folks at Billiam don't just love cowboy blues, they're also big on helping out victims of sex trafficking by donating 20% of their profits to those in need. If you're in need of a fresh pair of denims, check them out.

Good friend, celebrity photographer and all around purveyor of awesomeness, Steven Taylor is killing it right now. From MTV to Hollywood to Fashion Week Steven shoots it all and he's friggin' good at it too.

Our posters for good pal Mike Birbiglia revolve around My Girlfriend's Boyfriend, a show filled with antics of love, fair rides, inadequacy and sheer hilarity. We took it upon ourselves to fill these posters with as many references to Mike's current and previous material as possible while still hitting the high notes from the show. If he's ever in your town or you just want to laugh like a toddler give Mr. Birbiglia a listen.
Man, oh man do these goons like to draw or what? Actually we really do love to draw. Every single project we work on enlists some form of mark-making, whether we're sketching a super slick identity or hand drawing our next poster we've almost always got a ratty sketchbook and crappy mechanical pencil on us, ready to go.
